{Part II} A visit to the Maryhill Museum of Art

in steemsilvergold •  6 years ago
Here we are back at the Maryhill Museum of Art in Goldendale, WA, on the one and only Columbia River. Check out my post from yesterday for the introduction to this awesome museum.
One of the permanent exhibits at the museum is a chess piece exhibit. It's really cool seeing all the different styles. Today we are going to stick with the precious metal angle. I'll show the set and follow it with the description

And away we go...

The last set is my favorite of the three but for some reason I only took one picture!?!

I hope you enjoyed looking at these chess sets. I would guess they have 60 or more sets here, these are just the ones that contain precious metal.

Looking through pictures from my visit yesterday it seems I have a lot more good stuff (in my opinion) :) so I'll post the last few pictures with more info tomorrow.

Thanks for showing up! See ya tomorrow.
