Top 10 NBA Power Rankings In 2019..jpeg
Entering 2019, it would be nice to know who are the league leaders. Needless to say that this is not a prediction of who will be the eventual NBA champs but a momentum due to their recent performances can eventually affect their momentum which we all know are very important come the stretches of NBA game series during playoffs.

For example, Golden State Warriors are still regarded as the heavy favorite to win the NBA trophy but their recent performance doesn't show like it that's why they slid down to number 3 at this time. And the Houston Rockets may be the hottest team this week but due to their inconsistent performances, they fail to make it to the Top 10 this time, it can be all work in progress though.

The report is based on the article provided by Reid Forgrave of CBS Sports. And this is the list according to the report.

At number 1 spot is the Milwaukee Bucks. Currently first in offensive efficiency and third in defensive efficiency. The formula of being Giannis Antetokounmpo centered team seems to work and they'll just continue to build it with him. I see the Milwaukee Bucks being a perennial contender to the title in the coming years.

At number 2 is the Toronto Raptors. The Kawhi sensation is working magic on this team, I think they are very much intentioned to make it number 1 in their Eastern Conference season campaign. Having the homecourt advantage during stretches of playoffs series can work wonders. If they can keep Kawhi Leonard on this coming free agency season, I see bright looking future on this team.

At number 3 is the Golden State Warriors. If you tell me at the start of the season that the top 2 spots of NBA rankings after 2018 would be occupied teams coming from the Eastern Conference I would be laughing, but hey, strange things happen and Golden State Warriors are just now ranked number 3.

Again this is not to say that they will not win the championships especially now that Klay Thompson had just a conversation to his shooting hand lately, saying "I missed you". Splash brothers are gearing to get out of their shooting slumps.

Golden State is sure to go back to their winning form. But will there be enough time to regain the top spot of Western Conference and the NBA rankings before the close of the season? Only time will tell...

At number 4 is the Denver Nuggets. Whatever the Denver Nuggets is doing at this time is sure is effective, they are currently number one in well-stacked West. No one predicted this to happen, and this team continues to surprise us. Can they continue to bring it in the playoffs? Whatever the results on their offseason campaign, this team has already impressed me.

At number 5 on this list is Philadelphia Sixers. Quite contrary to our expectations, when they traded for Jimmy Butler who is known as an elite defensive player actually slid down on their defensive efficiency going from 9th to 15th. Their offense went up from 19th to 2nd over-all though. When they can finally tune up and find the balance on their defense, the sky's the limit for this team.
