As a STEM Ambassador in UK, I'm very pleased to see these type of things. I started doing activities in schools to encourage kids to study STEM subjects and then I moved to participating in events to engage audiences from different backgrounds.
In particular, one day while I was trying to explain the methodology that I am following for my research, I realised how little "accessible" information there is about one of the engineering tools I usually use: Finite Element Analysis. For that reason, I created a blog where I write posts about this numerical method, trying to explain, in an easy way, concepts which can often be sources of errors.
Thanks for this excellent initiative!
