Applications of science for life
Greetings my dear esteemianos ... on behalf of @issavets. In this opportunity I present this publication about efficient microorganisms (EM) and their usefulness in each of the spaces within our doing of each day and the benefit that we could obtain by developing and applying them in homes, industry, commerce.
For no one is it a secret that the human being is the largest producer of waste material that our planet has and that has led it to be the greatest living pollutant on earth, so much so that often because of this waste we cause outbreaks of diseases in our communities because of environmental pollution.
n our planet despite being formed mostly by water (70%) only 0.2% is usable for human consumption, this has led us to find ways to preserve and ration the resource due to its high demand worldwide , we live on a planet where humanity is expanding, industrialization has grown to levels that pollution has exceeded the cost benefit of this, so some researchers like Dr. Teruo Higa professor at the University of RyuKyus Japan in 1982 discovered the high potential of MS in the use for wastewater treatment among other applications.
The application of EM, brings out the full potential of nature, occurs in 45 countries, has been classified in several countries such as the US, Australia, New Zealand, among others, as organic material or organic additive, for animal feed.
In crops where the EM is applied, the inherent power of the soil is restored and the yield of the crops is increased, it has been demonstrated that in the production of wheat, there is an increase of more than 30% in the harvests, as well as in the production of juices obtained from fruit crops treated with MS up to 410%, such as orange, strawberries, Parchita, Pear, lemon, among others, not only purifies the soil but also water.
Here five requirements of agriculture with respect to humanity and the land are raised.
- Adjust to nature and protect the environment.
- Produce high quality food
- Be beneficial for both the producer and the consumer.
- That it be sustainable and sustainable.
- That the harvest yield is sufficient to cover the demand of an expanding population.
The EM is a complex solution of safe and beneficial microorganisms, such as photosynthetic bacteria, lactic acid bacteria and yeasts, which develop a metabolic synergy that allows its application in many fields of engineering, is easy to use, economical, increases yields in the crops, besides the improvement in the quality of the crops and water, it is achieved all over the world.
Its applications are varied, from the conversion of soap into waste cooking oil to the conversion of kitchen waste into fertilizer, it is used in many parts of the world to improve food production, recycle organic resources and purify contaminated water, as well as resource for the desalination of the land and improve the yield of the crops in these very brackish lands, as treatment of the animal excrements to turn them into safe and odorless fertilizers, lowers the production costs by not having to use chemical fertilizer.
In the Netherlands, where the percentage of land is less than that of water, the risk of contamination due to wastewater is very high; this percentage of risk has been reduced by the use of EM.
In Japan, where sewage pollutes the sea directly, EM began to be used, creating awareness among its inhabitants organized by zones, resulting in a decrease in the pollution of sea water, increasing fishing for the population's supply.
For the construction area it was demonstrated that there is a greater performance in the cement-water ratio, as well as the elimination of cracks in the finishes of the forgings and the resistance of the concrete in the short medium and long term is greater.
With this information that I leave my dear steemianos, more than pleasantly I hope it will be of benefit, this is an information about the advances that exist worldwide in environmental and agroecology, which would allow us to improve our quality of life and that of the planet, avoiding malnutrition by ending pollution and taking advantage of everything in the ecosystem that surrounds us ...
Thank you for taking the time to read it I hope your comments and if you like this post I hope your votes @ issavets ...
