That is a principle in Rastafarianism from what I have heard of an elder on youtube, I do not remember which video. They state that when an animal is killed, their last moments are filled with anxiety, dread, panic. Such emotions linked to death and suffering. So when man eats it, he consumes and aborbs these 'energies'. Ital cooking, what some call organic/vegan/vegetarian, seeks to live in harmony with the natural land and without harming living creatures.
