Athazagoraphobia is fear of being ignored/forgotten. It is thought to be a surprisingly regular phobia. Be that as it may, it is a rarely discussed phobia. This fear is of two types and has dual components. It could be found in dementia patients in their early times or other restorative conditions like memory loss, where they fear overlooking/forgetting their own character/identities. To imply someone has a fear of forgetting in light of the fact that they 'forgot a person's birthday/anniversary, its like saying you have a fear of 'milk' on the grounds that a parent denegrated you for spilling it! It's the fear of not 'measuring up' and individuals figuring lesser of you, could lead them ignoring or forgetting you. However I stand to be corrected!

I remember a facebook group I joined and a friend who we relate to just asked a question, we all ignored him. Some weren't online to answer his question but those that were online didn't answer, they were more preoccupied with a more heated gist, however they didn't see his question and those who saw it never had an idea of what he was relating to. So they never answered. He got angry and left the group, he was really hurt by those who ignored his call. To me I believe that person is just scared of being ignored or it could mean something else.
