Advice and the famous Steemterminal information

I bet you recognize this. For example, when you search on steemit for a answer to your question or scroll around in the feed on the platform and open a seemingly interesting links or post.....

But..... didn’t get what you were searching for? How frustrating!

First of all, great that you share and explore your expertise online by blogging and searching. That’s what keeps the platform alive. The following examples are not meant to offend anyone, but to poke you a little and illustrate where things might go wrong. All come from the experience we have in the discord Steemterminal but also in the other discords I am in.

THE TAGS AGAIN !

Yes of course. Everybody knows but every blog needs different tags and which ones do we take! Or which not and why? Where should you pay attention to? What are the advantages? Well the tag(s) needs to be topic related. That’s the most important, if I share a cooking blog and put it in travel, nobody will find it for sure. But my dinner blog can be in cooking, life, lifestyle or recipe. And the community hives are pretty new to the platform. Keep in mind that when you want a blog to go to the hive community put the hive tag first. Like hive-114105 is powerhousecreatives, hive-106444 is @melinda010100 featheredfriday or the hive-179017 the shadows hive. Go and sign up it’s free.

Great that you share your ideas, thought or contests but try to also share a message, get someone started with his or hers opinion or get them thinking, please do not send readers deeper into the wild, with false information. On a #introduceyourself comment I made this week, came a reply that stated that the person got the advise just to skip WITNESS VOTING. WTF!!! If you don’t know what the hell you are talking about, don’t give advice, admitt that you just don’t know , just ask, I do, but being here for some months helps. And try to surround yourself with people who know more than you do AND BE NICE !! It’s free and doesn’t cost you RC.

Make a good estimate of the wanted knowledge of your target group before sharing. If you continue to fall one step behind in your knowledge sharing, you do not convince the other person that you can help him or her one step further, upvote you or follow and interact with you.

ALSO IMPORTANT: Take a good look at the title of your blog / vlog post! ' ( edit mistakes , it’s possible after posting )

I watch my feed and I like to choose either by reading the title or view the photo that’s attractive. And look and look and look. What's good or wrong with it? What is a good title? Examples? What does the effect of a positive title have? You get readers if your blog or viewers when you vlog. Offcourse they can disappoint but the title is the first catch of the viewing eye. If I don't get it with you, I'll read it somewhere else, so after this first eye keep me with your exciting blog with related tags. That combined will get you the comment and or upvote. FOR SURE!

Don't be afraid of giving value. In the end we all scroll with the thought: "what’s in it for me?" Consciously or unconsciously. Social media can be your diary of life and your personal life website, when it stands still, is not an automatic leading attractive magnet. There are so many people that do what we do so be CONSISTENT too. These in my opinion are the places where you have to convince your target audience, your readers and viewers. Provide your followers regularly with valuable content and dare to give. Otherwise someone else will surely do it! And a lot has already been done on this great intuitive, personal, heartfelt platform. Stand out and again BE NICE. What feels like obvious advice to you is completely new to someone else. I did a few of these blogs and will do a lot more in the time that’s ahead. We come into contact with people / members and in fact need your perspective and experience too, so please advise us. Cut topics into small pieces of blogs with advice. I bet you have more to say than you think! And tell the reader, what advice did you need at a certain time in your blog life. Maybe the answer will be in the comments.

How do you consider what you can share? If you can google it, or when it’s something that’s in your head it is safe to do a blog post, and share it. If you want to Offcourse. Alias accounts are here too . Personally, I think you really distinguish yourself if you know how to share that little bit extra. Whether that is personal, reality, fiction, political or practical, that is totally up to you!
