Do We know where our time goes? We probably answered YES.
Have we ever tried keeping a written record of how we spend our time ? We probably said no. It's true.
One key to under standing time usage is that it's mostly a matter of habit. That's right.
We tend to do certain things every day without thingking and most of this behavior makes for good use of time.
Think of how much time we would waste if we had to stop and think about everything we do.
However, a lot of habits are needless patterns of behavior that waste time.
Most of Us are unware of our habits until we make the effort to observe and record them.
We think we know where our time goes when, in fact, few of us really do.
