Sorry for this issue. It is possible that you had copied their names with possible whitespaces/tab inside them. I think this might be the cause of the problem. So they don't trim the username for extra characters, so their voting bot can't identify it, and your voting remains inactive. So what you need to do is to remove all space/tab characters from the username, and just copy the letter characters as it is. Now you can easily do this if you copy the usernames to a spreadsheet software, that usually removes it for you.

Possibly. Going to check on that and reinput new rules for the accounts that weren’t getting voted on, see if that makes a difference...

Okay, I've not experienced this issue personally, so I put myself in your shoes and did what I'll do if I were in such situation. I Googled on this issue, and I found a post with a comment on something similar to this. The steemian posted in the comment about his challenge, and was told that @cryptomancer sent him a private chat. Maybe you could try private chatting @cryptomancer, or you could even private chat the steemian that had the similar issue @craig-grant. I would really like to get a feed back on how it went.All the best.

Whenever we change a rule after we changed it, we need to click the active rule and then re-engage it. That's what works for me. It works every time.

Wow. Its great for adding people that you know consistently produce quality work.. There are dozens of accounts around here that put out quality post after quality post.. Those are the people who should be rewarded and are growing this platform - in my opinion of course!.
This issue is really perculiar.
When I first joined it seemed like my upvote did not work. I heard that if you overdo it, it shuts down for 5 days, so I guess that must have happened to me. The rules are always changing as well as the way things work so I do not know how they are doing things now. Every so often I find a little information and try to go with that until I find new info to change the way I do things. Just sharing my experiences.
All learning and relearning together.

Hi there. Sorry to hear you’ve been having trouble. The comments from @choogirl and @bridgetnnenna are pretty spot on. Thanks for being helpful guys.

Check your rules to make sure there are no whitespace characters before or after the author name. Steemvoter does not trim whitespace so that would cause it not to recognize those authors. I’ve been intending to fix this but haven’t gotten around to it yet. If you continue to have problems, let me know and I can check our internal server logs to see if there is some other issue.

For future reference the best way to get help is by visiting our Discord support chat as @choogirl suggested. We no longer provide support via Steemit Chat and might not notice if you just reply to one of our posts.

I can’t confirm 100%, though seems that’s probably the case. Because the account name in an existing rule is greyed out, I couldn’t check to see if there were spaces - but the accounts the weren’t being voted on, I setup new rules making sure there were no spaces, and it seems the votes have been working since.

hey man,

tried entering the discord chat @choogirl linked above, but says the invite expired.

new question: it seems NONE of my SteemVoter rules have been executed the last 4 days...

has anyone else been experiencing this issue, or might you know what the fix is?

happened randomly - didn't adjust anything, just seeing that no votes are getting placed now even though the rules are active. would much appreciate if you might have any insight to share - and/or a new discord link if it'd be better to discuss there.

First advise though - we just had a similar issue with one user and eventully found out he had copy-pasted the account names so that the acc names had an empty space behind the usernames, and hence the failures. So - check those usernames first
