How can I write a fat juicy story for that Top Shelf whale upvote? steemit quality content

in stellabelle •  8 years ago  (edited)

Do I need to write better or do I need to be better? Does it even matter if it's desrving of whale's upvote, if I'm just a lowly minnow?

The story is posted, and the minutes are passing by and no upvotes. Maybe the story is worthy of several upvotes. How do we know immediately, if the post is worthy of such fast upvote action.

I watch this upvote craziness daily. It will actually start in just a few hours from now, and I wish I had a piece of that delicious pie.

How does one get in the inner circle of crazed upvoting. I see the usual list of names like, @dragonslayer109, @msgivings, @stellabelle, @fairytalelife, @gavvet and @fyrstikken.

@fyrstikken has amazing content and I read or watch all his original content. Its probably some of the most entertaining content on steemit. I've read a lot of post of the above power posters, and they all deliver amazing content. So, how many unknown minnows write the same quality original content and never get more than a few minnow upvotes?

Do the whales and dolphins read through all post and upvote what they see as the most deserving content? It's a lot of post to read through each day, and I can't imagine all deserving content gets it's rightful upvotes.

I know it's not a fair world and steemit is no different. I would like to hear any personal stories of successful post and not so successful post.

Thank you for reading my story. I appreciate any reply.

I'ts not all about whales bro, I just gave you a baby dolphin upvote !
Keep doing your thing ;)

Scroll through my blog and see how it developed. There's really no secret. Just work on followers, reputation, and consistency. Don't worry so much about whales. (That's usually when they come.)

Use pretty pictures, be edgy, find a niche and exploit it, make friends, DO NOT PISS OFF WHALES, etc.

Venuspcs is right. I would also suggest not letting the lack of whale votes get you down either. I really enjoy your posts.

I'm up for the challenge. Im building it .0$ at a time. A stranger one day and and a small following the next day. It's a hard climb, and I packed a lunch. Thank you.

@venuspcs, how long did it take you to get that momentum?

I think finding a niche is really important although am all over the place myself :)
