One good thing that came out of the Dr. Boyce Watkins cryptocurrency debacle, is Lamar Wilson. One of the experts he brought in to discuss this space with black people, has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Unfortunately, Dr. Boyce chose to set up his business with an outsider who is not a friend of the community. That partner of his, is not using his contacts to get FREE coins for the group so many of us joined, out of sheer excitement.
Instead, he told that group they need to pay $299/mo for tips on what Crypto's to buy -- or else they were going to struggle
It's a flat out shame that there isn't even more attention. If this were happening anywhere 'else' in the space, other than 'to black people', it would be a major deal. At the same time, not many people floated into Lamar Wilson's group... but I for one and thankful I did.
He has connections with people involved with the team at Stellar Lumens, and early in the year began telling us he'd be able to get us (members of his group) some for FREE. He gathered our emails and just a few days ago, his 'promise' came through.
We all received 100 FREE Lumens - a coin I was already holding and continue to be excited about. Especially after this! The only catch was we needed to perform a transaction over the network. I Simply sent mine to my wallet where I hold my Lumens, and today I'm 97 + Lumens richer.

I personally am rooting for Stellar, long term. KIN and several other ICO's are now looking to launch their coins ON the Stellar network. - the future potential of this one continues to excite me. The transaction I made earlier was extremely fast!
