Many studies have pointed out that glomerular mesangial cells provide support to the glomerular capillary loops and help the infiltration process, thus playing a major role as a target in chronic kidney disease. Renal endothelial cell dysfunction occurs in Chronic Kidney Disorders and leads to reduced L-arginine transport and impaired nitric oxide bioavailability.
