Conspiracies, Stigmergy, Memes, and Statism (politics)

The story of hell in the Abrahamtic religion, did it spread by indirect co-ordination, i.e. stigmergy? Or, did the churches conspire to spread the religion? No, they did not conspire, and governments can be viewed as slightly evolved churches, and so, if there was a myth that spread by threatening annihilation of genes, it would spread throughout the different governments (churches), without intent or planned agenda, per the laws of memetics. The word conspiracy is an oxymoron because it assumes that human intent is the driving force, as McLuhan said, life is just people bouncing into one another.
