Today, the price of stocks that I own were down significantly. I invest in dividend paying stocks, mainly in banks and finance firms. Yesterday was the day where stockholders would get dividends for next year, so the prices of stocks fell significantly today since these investors would sell them. For me, I would hold them for really long since they pay dividends which are much, much higher than bank interest. Typically, it's around 5% - 10% per year, which is really good.

I can share a site link where you can find info about the impact of reddit posts on stock market prices. Maybe this will be helpful for you in future!
