A day in the life of a hunter

As we know, hunting is one of the oldest professions in the world, yes even older than prostitution ;).

But, with time this profession lost its appeal and got a really negative reputation because they kill animals. It seems like everyone hates hunters nowadays. Everyone likes beef,chicken or swine meat but hunting is like the worst thing to many people. Poor animals they say...

This is so hypocrite and explains the reality in our lives. We want meat, but we dont want to know how its "made". We eat cheap chicken meat from battery farms, where the poor animals are living in awful conditions and are just numbers...But i have to say there is nothing better than fresh meat from an animal that was free and happy.

I grew up as a son of a hunter, my whole life was surrounded with animals, dead and alive. I had a pet deer as a kid, we had hunting dogs and went on many huntings. I discovered how noble this profession can be. I have discovered that it could be also the worst. This also a reason why i havent became a hunter myself.

Many came to hunting as a hobby to be in the forest and shoot animals to keep the population intact. You know, if the are too many deers, the smaller animals cant get enough food, the bigger get more food and so on...You have to keep the natural system in order. Sadly that is the reason why hunters exist nowadays. We are destroying forests and building houses nearer to their habitats.

Many of them came into hunting because of status and many other wrong reasons...i hate them. They are driving with their jeeps through the forests and shoot everything that they see...

My intention was to show you how a normal day in a hunter looks like, or should look like.

I have been following my father on his daily trip to feed Wild Boars.
