The reason man can not accept "nothing" as ever having been an actual state of existence when discussing “what was before” the "creation" of the universe is because the idea of absolute nothingness is actually better defined as being a sort of virus on the human consciousness, that is why it bothers us, because it defines a reality that never existed. It is a false concept conveying that the universe is a place that is less abundant than it actually is. The concept is inherently innately unacceptable to our intellectual perception , it disturbs our sense of logic and reason and goes so far to be conceptually troubling to our mind.
The truth is absolute nothingness never existed, it is actually a sickness on our collective consciousness, a perpetuated fantasy fallacy...
For example...
Let's take the number 0 that we can use to represent nothing... it actually always represents something, even if it is just used to represent a coordinate on a map, it becomes a reference to a point in a coordinate system. Or in normal conversation if one says I have 0 red Lamborghini they are saying they have 0 of something that actually exists somewhere in the universe. 0 always represents something that really does exist, it is just not in possession at the moment but it is a potentiality.
The concept of the possibility of nothing instills an irrational fear in people, we never actually have nothing, but the fear of the possibility becoming reality seems very real to us, like an impending doom that never arrives. We should take a moment to consider that this fear is currently an accepted possible reality among most in society today, essentially they are in a state of irrational fear.
I propose that absolute nothing means that the laws of nature would also not be present. It is an oversight of basic reasoning among the most brilliant minds of today. I propose absolute nothing should mean just that, meaning not even the “laws of nature” are present, if they are then absolute nothing is actually not totally absolute.
That ultimate answer then is that everything in the universe has always been here, just in a different form which is the first law of thermodynamics in basic physics and I sense this law is an absolute truth. You can not create or destroy energy, just shift its form. That naturally makes sense to you because going consciously back through eternity, we know something can not come from absolute nothing and our consciously inherently know that even if our intellect has not yet accepted it as truth.
So everything has been here, will always be here, and true absolute nothing then never actually existed.

'Nothing' is an abstract concept...nature doesnt like a vaccuum...it will always fill it with something
In vedic math '0' is the centre that all other numbers revolve round, it holds them together...without '0' there are no other numbers
To me 'nothing' is the potential for anything
In the beginning there was nothing....then look what we got involved in!
What was before this creation?...something else equally fascinating....and a thought, which in itself is something🤣🤔

I think everything has always been here. Like cyclic big bangs, expansion, contraction over and over. That makes more sense to me. =)
