Not too long ago, I video blogged about my grandmother when she was young and how a penny made the difference.

Tonight, however, I would like to move a few years ahead to the late 60's when my mother saved quarters that she would have spent for her lunch at school to buy her parents a special Christmas gift. In this story, I speak about a friend of hers name Joyce who helped her to reach this goal.
In life, sometimes we need a "Joyce" that can get behind us and support our efforts. I hope you find this story to be interesting and touching as I also relate it to the experiences we currently go through and also about Steemit, as well.
