[Relishing Experiences] Making the Most of a Fun Toy

in story •  7 years ago  (edited)

One day,

a boy walked into a toy shop and saw plenty of toys. Among the wide variety of toys, one caught his attention. Bricks like the Lego. The kid asked his parents to get him some Lego brick sets. The parents looked at the price tag and oh boy were they expensive!

But being supportive parents as they were, they made an agreement with the kid suggesting if he was able to use the Lego to do something else other than simply putting them together and be used for display while gathering dust, then they will agree to his request.

The boy agreed. Since he loved to play with Lego, he was willing to find another way to play them. He discovered that he could make stories by doing stop motion using Lego.

That boy was me!

What is stop motion?

Stop motion is a technique used to create an illusion of a moving object by taking multiple pictures while moving an object slightly.

Where is it used?

Stop motion is used to create a story by using inanimate objects. It has been used in movies like Coraline, The Night Before Christmas, Wallace and Gromit and tv shows like Shaun the Sheep.

How I learned to do stop motion?📷

I learned doing stop motion by watching tutorials made by other stop motion content creators. I followed what they did and experimented some movements myself.

Through time, I have made a lot of stop motions. So i thought of uploading them to YouTube.

Got three (3) fun videos below for you.

Hope you guys like them! 😁

Looking back, with that simple agreement with my parents, I was able to exercise my creativity and have even more fun with Legos!😄
