Each and everyone of us has been a victim of discouragement either to someone or someone else try to discourage us. Many of us here today have been victims of discouragement. For many of us, discouragement has been the result of unexpected happenings, things turning out differently from the way we expected them.
Many of us get discouraged because certain things that happen to us were not prepared for. We did not expect those things to happen to us. We did not expected to be treated in a ways we dislike, but we were treated like in a displeased manner, Inspite of this never give up hope.
If I we're to ask each and everyone; I'm sure we will definitely have a lot to say about how we got treated in the hand's of human; this has occurred/happens to several great man in the past;
I heard about a noble man who gave his totality for the love of Masses! This man do all he could to ensure that his people living a good life. Despite all his efforts we still see those who against him, these few people's against him because they forseen the glory which to come and they gathering together against his good wishes. Perhaps they are evny him because they thought the glory will be his alone.
That is what they do! Always to discourage you, it got to a time these set of people did tried to stop the man, but he became more stronger beyond their expectations, yet they refused to give up they promised themselves to go any length in order to stop his good will; but this man doesn't moved at all he became untouchable, unshakeable and more stronger than before due to support from majority he was able to archive his goals, but after few days later; they tried to got him killed in order to kill his good wishes and plans for it people.
That was discouragement and disappointment. does, Moses in the Biblical would be the best man to speak on this subject today; But discouragement is inevitable, and every ones of us must be prepared at all times for its coming.
Not too much long ago gathering at home town for a funeral service. During the closing prayer before the funeral precession which was to take the deceased to his hometown, some thirty miles away, prayer were said for the family. A special plea was made to God to protect people in the funeral precession from any accident that might claim lives. But before the precession had reached its destination, an accident on the road had claimed one life, that of the man who was very close to the bereaved family. Some people wondered why God should disappoint us like that? Am so sure you will definitely be discouraged and disappointed by asking many questions within" Is God never answered prayers again" which Others have asked whether it was necessary to pray to God for protection before embarking on any journey.
Our enemy would use discouragement either to destroy initiative or render a person useless and disillusioned. The same Discouragement and disappointed has led many young man and many young lady from getting married because they are living witnesses to several marriages, even among the most enlightened people, which have hit the rocks and become disintegrated.
One thing is certain, refusal to marry does not solve the problem of moral laxity in any society. It rather complicate it and encourages it. Because you lived to witnessed a marriage that hit rock and disintegrated doesn't mean you should refused not to get marry, in this contemporary world; we live to learn, we learn to improve and behave differently from others
Don’t be discourage, for discouragement brought continuous failures in life. Always be positive and never lose hope.
