Hi, dear friends! Today I’d like to share my true story with you. I ever went bankrupt and got into debt. I fell into the bottom of my life.
Maybe you will ask why I fell into the bottom of my life?
This story started from 2014 when I resigned my position and pursued my MBA studies.
In 2014, apart from studying MBA,I spent about 20,000RMB learning financial quotient.I had a great plan for my future: I’ll learn investment and financial management through studying the courses of financial quotient. Then I go to practice project investment. When I graduate with a MBA degree, I will become a free investor. At that time, I don't need to work. I can do some public welfare out of love and give back to the society.
But things go against my will.
Until 2016, I went from a petty bourgeois girl to a bankrupt.
All my investments went down the drain, I lost much money in stock market, my mother was seriously ill in hospital, my credit cards were maxed out, and I ran myself into negative equity. I fell into the bottom of my life.
What was worse, I couldn’t find a good job after I graduated with a MBA degree. It really added insult to injury.
Why couldn’t I get a job?
I thought I should get a high salary job as I have a MBA degree. If the salary is lower than my expectation, I don’t like to consider.
In this way, for a long time, I had no job and no salary to support myself.
Later I realized that I need money badly and I have to work immediately. I changed my mind. As long as the company was willing to hire me, I would go to work. Soon I got a job.
Now, I'm bouncing back from the bottom slowly. I tried everything I could to make a change.
What measures did I make after I hit bottom of life?
Firstly, I got a job to support my life immediately. I had to make myself settle down. With a job, my life became regular.
Secondly, I went to Wenshu Monastery to learn traditional Chinese culture. I improved my thinking model through learning traditional Chinese culture. I gave up the idea of getting rich overnight.
Thirdly, I joined Chengdu Toastmasters Club to practice speaking and leadership in order to get my confidence back.
After about two years’ adjustment, I came out of the difficult situation slowly.
What have I learned from this experience?
Firstly, life lies in accumulating virtues and energy instead of seizing an opportunity to change fate. If you want to live a good life, you must accumulate merits and influence. You need to gain recognition from people. And opportunity comes from the people around you.
Secondly, honesty is the best policy. Everything changes. The best way is to be honest and do every little thing well. Only by taking every step well can we avoid stumbling in life.
Thirdly, I admit that I am an ordinary person with a humble heart.
If I can feel others' feelings and needs with my heart and meet their needs, my interaction with others will be comfortable. And my interpersonal relationship can be harmony, my happiness index will be high.
The above inspiration are what I have learned in the past four years. I am very grateful for this experience which made me grow up. I have adjusted my thinking mode and I will get better and better. Thank you!
