The NeverWas That NeverWill

The dark of night comes early in December; and with it comes the cold of Winter. A drop of rain too heavy to be sustained high up in the air falls down like a torpedo and explodes on the pavement; I imagine a mushroom cloud like the ones seen in old T.V. footage of Nuclear explosions and the devastation this single drop causes for all the invisible particles too small for the human eye to see. The devastation is total and merciless followed by a shock-wave which obliterates anything not obliterated by the initial strike.

If only it were one drop this invisible world would have survived; however a strike of lightning miles away rips across the clouds and the downfall begins. There will be no survivors and the remnants of a world invisible to the eye will not be mourned or remembered by mankind ‘for this is a world that never was and not a single teardrop will be shed by any man, woman or child, as they take their umbrellas and walk on by through the cold dark Winter night; oblivious to the utter annihilation of the invisible world they never knew existed.
