Kosefe kingdom is a very large and powerful kingdom. Their was a king in this land with only one son who was to sustain him on the throne. One day,the king's son was stricked by a terrible sickness. All the best native doctors came together to rescue the prince from the grip of sickness,after series of trying and failing,they came up with a solution. The king was happy about the solution,but their was a complication when he heard that someone has to travel to the thick forest of fear and discouragement to pluck seven fresh leaves.
Plucking the leaves is not the problen,but who dare to go into such a terrible forest to save the prince? The town cryer was sent to the people that the king needed someone to go and pluck seven fresh leaves from the forest of fear and discouragement in other to save king's son. The assignment is with a big reward,anybody that is able to go to the forest and get the leave would be given up to the half of the whole kingdom. People were very much excited about the reward,but who dare to go into such a dangerous wilderness where wild animals and other dangerous beasts can devore one without leaving a remnant. From among them arose a small boy who's name courage,he told the whole community that he would go on the mission. After hearing his declaration,many people including his parents warned him not to try it,but the young boy has so much made up his mind to go and get the leaves no matter what.
Very early in the morning he left the community for the forest without informing anybody,but since he was not find among his friends,people have already concluded that he had left for the mission.
They could not find him when he was expected to return,so people started consoling his parents while others are wailing for the loss of such a young boy with a brighter future.
By now,all hope had lost,nobody is expecting him to return,even his parents are trying to forget the memory he left behind,and prince heath keep detorating,suddenly courage appeared with seven fresh leaves in his hand. The whole community was happy to see him back,though some doubted him for a ghost. He presrnted the leaves to the doctors and the necessary sacrifice was made,just almost immediately,prince rose from the sick bed,the king was so much happy that the prince who was to die without the leavs could rise again. He fulfiled his promise to courage by giving him up to the half of the kingdom...
