The earth gives life and takes same
It produces the very oxygen we breathe but
In the same earth we go after death
Just as the sun rises and sets
Vapor evaporates and becomes rain
We are born, only to die in the end

Not all death is expected or as we tend to write on obituaries

CALL TO GLORY

the 28th of JUNE 2018
a day to remember

My country weeps.
An unexpected event claimed vibrant lives
Youths, children, elderly, even properties.

BLACK JUNE; I would term it
Silent sadness hovers around every conversation.

I weep for NIGERIA
OUR FUTURE; the youth who could have led us to light, might have been caught up in that fire.
Families are mourning
Where do we go from here?
What next?
Life seems unbearable
