Galligan hurredly scribbled something on the bottom of the message, rolled it up and strung it back around Groober’s neck while sending him aloft in a rush of feathers!
“Tae th' beach men! Move yer arses!" Galligan barked as he dashed forward out of the clearing and into the jungle heading west!

The Captain paced the deck boards of the poop deck nervously as the Grand Bank schooner slowly widened it’s lead to the north.
“Damn th' luck! Where's 'att spyug!" He muttered loudly as he paced.
“Sairrr! Sairrr! Thaur’s Groober, comin' in aff th' coest!" Seaman Landsman Inoy yelled from th main deck.
“Groober?! Brin' oot th' landin' perch! brin' heem in!" The Captain shouted as he jumped down the steps of the bridge and onto the main deck.
Inoy ruffled the feathers of the big bird and then quickly removed the message…
“Gives it ta me cheil!” The Captain barked as Cockpit Mate- Midshipman’s Mate Fisky walked up.
The Captain quickly unrolled the message and read it’s content softly outloud…
“Dears Keptin,
Th' mission was a total success! - Commander Galligan”
The Captain then rolled up the parchment and glanced towards the coast. His eyes were full of emotion and his heart beat strong and quick…
“Aw mah prayers hav’ been answered…" He said softly as he turned to Fisky, “Tar Hail fur battlestations! All gun ports open!”
“Aye, aye Sairrr!!”
