Do you believe that there is something out there greater than you?
Is there a spirit surrounding us all the time? How all the worlds wonders
were created? It is always on my mind when l see and dream in color.
Every since l was a child that’s the way it was. Do you believe you have
a guardian angel that watches over you. Have you ever seen one when you
we’re a child? Now l can’t physically prove this to you without a photograph
but l saw mine when l was about 11 years old. Some of you may respond to this
with (LOL) some of you won’t. like l said l can’t prove it.

Which brings me back to the subject of faith and believe in something
greater than yourself. We have a lot of people today and throughout history
Who thought and think they are God and can do anything they want
to innocent people HITLER, KKK. Nazi concentration camps, the
killing of innocent children and women through poisonous gas,
lynching of black males all the way up to the 60s. Women of color
being raped by their masters while the husband had no say so
at all, long before white women suffered the same thing. Sexual
misconduct by, Comedian Louis C.K, Actor Richard Dreyfuss, Singer Nick Carter,
Actor Dustin Hoffman, Actor Kevin Spacey, President Donald Trump, PBS+CBS
Host Charlie Rose, NBC Matt Lauer, America’s Dad Bill Cosby. The list goes
on. No woman should be forced to do anything! I tell my daughter that all
the time.

Some people love to go church and put on a show of compassion because
they think that will impress God or the spiritual being .
Than leave and quickly act cold hearted because they see someone
who looks different from them. Boy that’s a lot of nerve! News flash!
We didn’t create these wonders of the world, were just living here on borrowed time.
Let’s not get full of ourselves! Yes that includes me.

Do you believe there was a being named Jesus who died for our sins then bear the cross
for us. That God gave his only son? Do you pray with gratitude in you’re heart or only
when you want something. Do you ever pray for those who are less
fortunate than you? Do you care? Is God or you’re spiritual being only important
to you when trouble arises or you’re scared? Ever notice how some
how some people say they don’t believe. But as soon
as they get into trouble. Oh help me God!

My father when he was alive had a saying. Tell it like it is.
You may put on a good show for the public but deep down
inside only you know if you’re sincere or a phony. People will
find out eventually. The question is what type of life will
you have lived. A giving one with compassion and love or
hate, racism, sexism, jealousy and pettiness, our choice.

Do you love and honor your parents who sacrificed for you
and raised you? Do you respect senior citizens or are they
a nuisance to you? They have earned the right of dignity and
should be treated that way. Often l have seen people just
get so frustrated with them because they move to slow.

When someone ask you a question do you give them a honest
answer? When people gossip do you join right in? If you have
chance to take advantage of a aging relative finically would
you do it? My niece did it to my father when he could no longer
handle his money. Are you always looking to start a negative
conversation because of the dissatisfaction in your life.
What do you believe? Only you can answer that.AE109721-ECB3-48A1-BFAF-B1CE12FC5AB7.jpeg

Indeed, not all people who go to church who shows compassion to "God" are sincere...Let us all reminded that the life that we have today is we just borrowed from "him" .Let us be thankful to him and always remember him in our hearts as we follow and honored our parents.....

Well said. Thank you.

Thank hitachi2.

Great food for thought, Juan. Sometimes people need reminders like this to look in the mirror and analyze themselves. It’s a good practice while we’re walking in this world to think about this every single day.

You got that right my brother.

Try to read psalm 83:18 for you to see the greatest of all. Im following you now!

Thank you ayerz.

I believe in a higher power that is out there. I don’t believe in karma. This Higher power created a conscious being that make their own decisions and choices. Bad things happen to good people. Staying close to your higher power and radiating in it helps you stay even and peaceful.

It helps how you respond to situations around you. It won’t change anyone else but it will help you.

I’ve realized this power recently. My stress has never been lower and my anxious thoughts have been lessened.

We are definitely to gather all part of an energy.

Melissa

A thought provoking piece which deserves to be read by many.

I know Spirit is real and have encountered my Guardian Angel - (we all have one as well as a spirit guide and often a team too!)

Not too enamored personally by organised religion and have certainly met a few folks who hide behind their christianity and act appallingly towards others!

Try to be kind along my way.

Be happy.

Bill Cosby's prevailing accuser, Andrea Constand, is a lesbian. Here's why that matters:-

Although more than 50 women have come forward with their own Bill Cosby sexual assault accounts over the years, the entertainer’s three-count conviction on Thursday came down to just one: that of Andrea Constand, who, the Pennsylvania jury found, had been drugged and sexually assaulted by Cosby in his home 14 years ago.

“United we stand,” tweeted Constand not long after the decision was handed down at the Montgomery County Courthouse, along with a photo of herself going in for a celebratory hug.

The pressure on Constand was fierce, as hers was the only criminal case against Cosby; in many of the other women’s cases, the statute of limitations’ time frame had ended. “She is the linchpin of the case,” Lynne M. Abraham, a former Philadelphia district attorney and judge, had said in 2017. “The whole case stands or falls on her. She is it.” Still, Constand remained steadfast in her legal fight.

On Thursday, the day the verdict was read, many observers made a point of highlighting what turned out to be a noteworthy personal fact about Constand in the case: her sexuality.
“Before the national reckoning around sexual harassment and abuse that prompted the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements, Andrea Constand … came out publicly in 2015 as a lesbian to challenge her attacker’s assertion that he knew how to read the desires of the women he assaulted,” noted national LGBT publication the Advocate in its story published Thursday about “the lesbian accuser who brought down Bill Cosby.”

The story explained that in 2015, Constand’s attorneys noted, in a motion, “As defendant [Cosby] admits in his deposition, despite his talent for interpreting female reactions to him, he did not realize Plaintiff was gay until the police told him.”

Further, in 2017, the New York Times reported that Constand had told investigators about previous times that Cosby had made sexual advances toward her. “I was kind of embarrassed really,” she’d said, noting that she was gay and that the feelings were not mutual. “I never really thought he would have hit on me. He is much older than my father.”

Echoing recent connections between gayness and activism, as made by Parkland shooting survivors including Emma Gonzalez, some of Constand’s supporters celebrated her sexuality on Thursday — which just happened to be, to their great delight, Lesbian Visibility Day.

It really upsets me that a man who l looked up too as a child and teenager with have such disregard and disrespect towards women. As a young black male who saw mostly white positive male images it was
inspiring to able to relate to someone who looked like me. The fact that Hollywood and television has
been so one sided for years really gave me hope. In the last twenty years things have gotten better. What
he did was unfortunate for men especially young men growing up of color. We have enough stereotypes still put on us.
Thank you
