As a photographer, sometimes you’ll never know where you’ll be shooting next. A few years ago I had the opportunity to take pictures on the field at Yankee Stadium.
If you're wondering the exact reason I was commissioned - the Bronx YMCA was getting one of those giant checks that you cant take to the bank - lol.
f you know anything about sports and television timing, you know the timing to events are calculated with military precision. I had to work quickly and get several vantage points.
It's not everyday one has the opportunity to go on a professional sports field - let alone Yankees Stadium. I'm a huge fan of the Yankees but when on assignment I keep things professional. I always say "act like you've been there"!
