A Little Birdie Told Me...

Hi @bluelightbandit.
I have learned.
Specifically, just how important clarity of communication, is.
Might I suggest that: some birds are really different.
They’re not sheep and they’re not dogs. They are volunteers not easy targets.
Perhaps “yours” was merely giving you some space to decide if you were relieved by the void, indifferent, disappointed or angry.
Kind of feels like frustrated anger to me, by your choice of descriptive labeling, so further clarification is needed.

I might be just an ol' country boy, but you didn't have to waste your valuable and precious time "suggesting" that birds are mainly different from each other. Nor are they sheep or dogs, I figured that out all on my own. Not easy targets? Speak for yourself.

Perhaps "mine" doesn't know it all like she thinks she does, so she shouldn't be so quick to judge.

Not frustrated anger as you diagnosed, more like extreme disappointment. It's cool though, I'm used to people disappointing me. It's my own fault, I shouldn't set my expectations so high I guess. If my descriptive labeling is throwing you off, try using the Urban Dictionary. It will give you slang definitions and alternate meanings of words and sayings. If that doesn't help, maybe you could pencil me in around March or April for further clarification?
