"It was heavily raining, as I can still recall father. I was fully loaded for I brought two big bags containing my things for my laboratory class. I forgot to bring umbrella on that time. The street was flooding until knee. I took off my white shoes and socks. I was in a great hurry for our clinic instruction would be conducting a demo test. When I was about to cross the street, a man with a big umbrella approached me and offer his help. I accepted his help. He took the other bag. We went together until we arrived to the gate of the school. I thanked him and asked his name. His name is Kent Funtalevano."

"And what year were you then Alea?" the priest interrupted.

"I was on my last year in nursing course Father."

"Continue Alea."

Though she can hardly speak, there was still a manifestation of passion in telling the events of her life to the priest.

"From then on father, we became friends. And eventually best friends. We always do our assignments, go to the mall, watch movies, have outing and go to this cathedral to attend massage together.

My classmates and friends always teased us as lovers. But they never knew the truth, that we were not lovers.

He invited me to move with him in his condo unit, which her mother had bought for him. At first I was reluctant bit I accepted his offer in the end. There, we have each other's room.

Kent told me about his life. His father is a millionaire. He is the youngest son of his father's second wife.

Among the siblings, he is the most favorite of his father. His father provided his needs and wants but he is not a spoiled child. There is one reason behind all those good things his father gave. He wanted Kent to take up Business Management in college because he always believed that he is the only one who can better handle their gigantic business. But it is against the will of Kent. He wanted to become a doctor.

He is then outcasted from his family. If there is one person who still love and supported him, that is his mother. He lived peacefully here in the city, secretly supported by his mother.

He studied medicine, slowly fulfilling his dream to be a doctor for the poor. He even shared to me that after his graduation he will build a clinic free for all people, specially the poor.

He is so kind to me father. He sustained my education which my family in the province cannot do anymore. Kent gave me everything that I wanted, everything Father, everything.

I miss him father when he always asked me for a head massage every night before we sleep.

Time came father where I abused his pure kindness. I entertained suitors just to make him jealous. But he seemed to be okay. I accepted love. I had so many boyfriends where there was one incident that I became the reason of boys rumble.

Not only that Father, many times, I brought my friends and boyfriends on Kent's condo. We were always drank when he came, but he was still clam and okay. I cannot even trace a line of disappointment and madness in his face. He even smile and said "enjoy guys!"

One, two, to three times Father he caught me with my boyfriend sleeping together in the sofa of his condo's living room. What I expected was a hot confrontation but he did not. He invited us instead for the breakfast that he already prepared.

For all of that Father, no man can still smile to me genuinely, innocently and heartily despite of what I have done which were beyond patience. Those were fare faults that until now haunted me Father. I didn't even say a single sorry to him. I am so bad.

When we graduated Father, I as a nurse and he as Doctor of Medicine, we separated ways. I went abroad after I got my license as nurse. And Kent disappeared, completely disappeared in my life.
