Experimenting with OpenSCAD - Patterns and Recursions

Here is a video that I made - it shows a recursive code. Basically, by keying in different parameters, you would be able to generate different CAD patterns.


The above is basically a pattern that I am using to generate supports for my fidget spinner:

The pattern changes as the number of ball bearings changes - so you can see the complexity of the supports increases with the increase in ball bearings.


Hope you will enjoy this! If there is time, hopefully, I will be able to create a more complex pattern - maybe for a 3D-printed vase or something.

I have used it, but not for anything useful. I did this:

That looks pretty good to me! I cannot really get around trying to design figurines and all - most of my designs are more mechanical as you can see from my previous posts.
