One of the things I learned early in my relationship with my husband is that when it comes to his family, never try jump scare them, or do so at your own risk.
It is a simple reason. When it comes to the Olivier's the fight or flight reaction, it is always the former. I found this out one night when deciding to scare my husband. He was coming around a corner and I jumped out at him. His reaction kicked in, as he swung his fist back, I knew I screwed up. Before he swung his fist at my face he stopped himself realising it was me so I never actually got hit...
His little sister was not so lucky. When she was younger she hid behind the fridge and as her oldest brother walked past. She jumped out behind him and screamed. He reacted before his brain could comprehend what happened and he hit her so hard she went flying across the room... They laugh about that now.
I remind myself of that story every time I'm tempted to prank my husband with a scare.

Oh gosh I think our husbands would become great friends...mine is exactly the same but I have scared him successfully quite a few times. I just know how to duck quickly...lol
It is still fun scaring them...wonder why?

My husband is liked by almost every person he comes across.
I think it's fun for us because of the adrenaline rush we get from not knowing. Will today be the day he finally gets me... Only I never get away with it. My husband always tickles me after for revenge
