I'm going to start out by defending myself. I did not plan on scaring her but I did laugh while this was happening. The story starts 2014. Lets just say: Once upon a time, I was a learner driver...
Even though the legal driving age in South Africa is 18. By the time I turned 19 I was still not a driver, I had my learners but I also had a fear of driving a car. Everyone always said "It's as easy as riding a bike" (I also don't know how to do that). So when my oldest sister Naomi came to visit us from Australia she decided that it was time I learned and had an instructor teach me.

It was just before my niece's birthday party, my best friend Corne had offered to make her cupcakes, all we needed to do was pick them up. No problem as she stayed less than a 1.2km away from my house. She called and asked that we come pick them up and have someone in the car that could hold the containers.
I informed my mom and sister what was going on and they suggested I take my little brother and sister in the car with me and go pick them up while practicing my driving. It had been a couple of months since I learned how to drive so with confidence I took the keys to my moms car. Getting to Corne was a breeze. No cars on the road, mostly a downhill trip. I had forgotten that my mom's car has no power going uphill, so after picking up the cupcakes I made my way up the hill and stopped at the steepest part because I couldn't see the stop street line I knew was there.
I waited for the cars who had right of way to pass, put the car in gear and tried pulling away. The car dead. I pulled up the handbrake (this makes the back of the car drop ) Turned on the ignition and tried again. Again the same thing happened. By now my sister was screaming hysterically and crying believing she was going to die. My brother and I were almost crying ourselves but because of laughter. The third time I tried and succeeded. We got home safe with no other incidents.
She jumped out of the car once we were home, kissed the ground and ran inside to tell my mom she is never going to get in the car with me again... A few weeks later I got my drivers and was her designated driver to school and back. I still laugh when she asks me to take her somewhere.
Here is something just for laughs
