THE MOST HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE THAT CAN HAPPEN TO A BOY STILL IN PRIMARY SCHOOL #horrific story

I have a story to tell you my friends, not really a mere story but something that really happened. It`s a very crazy story; a story that has left me asking myself “what experience could be more horrific than that for a little boy?” and I would want to know your reply.

This story I am about to tell you happened to a friend, well, not really my personal friend but my mother's friend. Just like my own family, my mother's friend`s family were living perfectly. A family of two; the husband and his wife, that is, before they gave birth to their son. A son, who they loved, cared for and pampered as that was the only child they were able to have. As an only child, the parents didn’t allow him go far without them, they would give him whatever he needed and even tried meeting up to the impossible ones due to the amount of love they had for their son.

They lived with their boy and each year that passed was celebrated wonderfully. As we all know, boys love their mothers even more than their fathers and I mean far more. It is better to attack the father of a son than to attack his precious mother whom he considers his safe zone, his mother who gets worried when he hasn’t eaten, his mother who wakes up by 4:30am to cook something and dress him up for school.

One day, something big happened. Something I believe scarred this boy for life. He was in his primary 2 and his mum, with her car, went out for work. The house-help usually picks him up from school. Few moments after the house-help had brought him back home, they heard the honking of their mother`s car (the mum was back from work). She was inside her car waiting for someone to open the gate as her son, with joy over her return, rushed downstairs to greet his mum.

As he rushed out of the gate, he witnessed the unbearable; he saw in real life what he usually only sees in movies, he witnessed with his own eyes, his mum being shot on the neck by a man trying to rob her of her car. He witnessed his mum fall to the ground after the shot. He ran towards his mother's bleeding body as he wept loudly and deeply. His face was covered with the blood of his mother as she kept on touching his face with tears in her eyes , she wanted to feel her son's skin for the last time as she slowly passed away. In the end, The boy horrifically witnessed his mother`s painful and gradual death.

Even though she died on the spot, she was still rushed to the hospital.

However, only God has the power to bring man back to life.

When this story was told to me by my mum, I asked myself “WHAT COULD BE MORE HORRIFIC THAN THAT FOR A GROWING CHILD?”
I could not help but imagine how traumatized this little boy would be.
