My Cat With Three Names- Part Four

When Ollie fully recovered, he was back to his regular routine; living with me and Pachino again. Suzi missed having Ollie with her so when she saw Ollie outside, she opened her door and called him in. One day I noticed how fat Ollie was getting and I asked Suzi if she had been feeding Ollie also. She told me no. He wasn't allowed to have dry food because he still couldn't chew it. Ollie swallowed it whole and it made him sick to his stomach. So, I just assumed that the canned food was making Ollie gain weight. Then I noticed the revolving doors for Ollie. Out my door; in her door. Out her door; in my door. I just thought that he enjoyed living in two different homes. Ollie was getting bigger by the minute, and I kept asking Suzi if she was feeding him. She always replied, "No." Once again, I put Ollie on a diet and he was not happy about that at all.

Approximately three months had passed when Suzi asked me to come over to her place because she needed help with something. I caught her red-handed! I went into her kitchen and saw three bowls sitting on the floor. One for water, one filled to the brim with dry cat food, and the third bowl was half empty with canned cat food! I yelled, "I knew it! I just knew it! You HAVE been feeding Ollie all this time!" So now I only feed him a tiny bit while Pachino eats his dinner. I have to give Ollie something because it would not be fair for him to watch Pachimo eat and he ends up with nothing.

Are you ready for this? Suzi swears that Ollie is part rabbit. Oh my gosh! Did she really say that or is this just a bad dream? His fur is thick and very soft with a few small spots of the same colors as a rabbit, but that is as far as it goes. We have two wild rabbits that come to our back yard every day and Suzi has named them, "Floppsy" and "Moppsy."

She thinks that maybe, one of these rabbits could be Ollie's father. I kid you not! And guess what? You won't be surprised to hear that she wants to add the two rabbit's names to Ollie's. That would make his name, "Ollie Boots Finley Chubba-Bubba Floppsy Moppsy."

Suzi's first name is simply "Suzi." Not Susan or Suzanne. And there is no letter "e" at the end of her name. And, her parents didn't give her a middle name when she was born. Maybe that is why she is so obsessed with Ollie's name. After Suzi's last statement about the rabbits, I couldn't take it any more. I was so done! I yelled, "You have got to be kidding me! You have completely lost your mind woman! Just because your parents didn't give you a middle name, you don't have to take it out on Ollie! And cats don't mate with rabbits...they kill them! You know that because Ollie has brought several dead bunnies to our doors! Would YOU want all of these rediculous names?" Suzi yelled back, "Yes I would. It is better than only having two!"
