We all know that Stranger Things is the spoiled and prodigal son of Netflix, with its first season it caused a total commotion, everyone hired the streaming service just to be able to watch it. The first season could be defined as the best of all, managing to perfectly bring the feelings and nostalgia of that time, complemented with excellent visuals and a more than interesting plot. The following ones are nothing more than a crude copy of the main idea, creating many inconsistencies during the course of them, causing the viewers to have more doubts than answers about what is going on, until the creators leave out certain elements so that you forget them, but it is inevitable if you are really smart, In this last one they tried to correct certain mistakes but it doesn't work at all, trying to make believe that the plot was already planned in advance but it only resulted in more inconsistencies that are noticeable from afar, implying that everything is done with the same formula and on the fly, it's starting to get a little tired of it all. I may have put up with the same old pattern in previous seasons but here it's totally boring at times.

The formula that Stranger Things has followed to date is pretty simple, they introduce a new Eleven conflict that resolves itself in the end and then has no relevance whatsoever, a new enemy appears, the boys split into groups to gather clues, the charismatic character that is introduced for each new season dies, the boys reunite for the final battle, Eleven ends up saving the day as usual. Each and every season continues that pattern, it's really tiresome and I was hoping that by the end of this one, they'd at least leave Eddie alive. And the execution of the separation of groups here is lousy, only Dustin and Steven's group (the Hawkins group) is interesting, Mike and Eleven's group (which has a "father" and daughter arc that makes no sense because her "father" should be dead) is the worst of all, they spend most of the series travelling on the road doing nothing, plus Mike becomes an almost unbearable character, his personality
