I tried a couple of streams on Vimm.tv (or streems as they should be called on steemit) but I thought I'd give a go on the ol' YouTube because I've never tried it before. Something missing from the other sites like Vimm.tv or DTube are the ability to play the video directly in steemit. I'm sure that would boost views, as well as upvotes, if it would be implemented someday.
As Far as Vimm goes. I'm liking that you only have to hit post once and the whole thing starts. I'm having a hard time hitting 'Post' on Steemit and then hit 'Start Streaming' on OBS (or vise-versa). Vimm will just make, and post, a steemit post within 5 minutes of the stream starting.
If only it could be played like this one on Steemit.
I'v been playing around with OBS and adding some overlays and such as I get used to streeming. I should probably make a second account for the game streeming because it might bog down my blog (and you're feed) if I end up playing a bunch over the next few days. The weather has been miserable, cold, and rainy the last few days so if it doesn't improve, I'm sure I'll be playing more.
I think I'll just use @landonator's account to streem after this post. If you want to see more game streeming then be sure to follow @landonator. It's probably the only thing he'll be posting for a long time considering he's only 3 right now.
I'm also trying to figure out how to live streem from an iPad screen. There are countless ways to streem from the camera on the iPad, but nothing to capture the screen live. I'd like to try and live streem some of my drawing on Procreate or something, but it's not looking like it's going to be as easy as it should be.
