One factor will determine whether or not you enjoy Street Fighter 5: are you a fan of fighting games? You'll have a great time if you do, especially if you've never played an SF game. If not, you may enjoy some lighthearted arcade fun with your pals but find it difficult to engage in competitive gameplay.
Both flashy and technical, Street Fighter 5 is. Fighting games are the only ones that frequently determine matches based on a small number of frames. In the end, a game like SF 6 will only give you what you put into it. This also applies to all Tekken and Mortal Kombat games.
