Bridges

I used to go on runs all the time over this little bridge. Aren't bridges actually so fascinating?! Do you even stop to admire the work & design that's been put into it? I know I forget a lot of the time to stop & actually admire the work. My carpenter husband always comments on different bridges & how amazing it is, or he'll comment on how it's built to withstand such heavy loads & weight. Even more amazing, is those bridges that withstand so much pressure from water passing through as well.

We just watched the netflix documentary, WWII In Colour & what was actually super interesting for me was how significant bridges were during the war. Especially in winning the war, it was necessary to cross them & concur them. They were integral in delivering supplies & helping the soldiers on the ground. Just thought it was an interesting fact that I never really considered when I learnt about the war in my younger years.
