A double meaning

in streetphotography •  7 years ago

This photo was found at a footpath between a road and a ferry dock. It helps separating the stream of pedestrians as they enter and exit the ferry. People leaving the ferry are guided to the left, entering people are guided to the right
But with just this, the picture you're looking at would be a little bit boring. But with the double meaning of the German words on the signs, this picture makes a whole lot more sense.
Aussteiger means leaving or exiting, but can also be translated with dropbout or escapist.
Einsteiger means entering, but can also be translated with newcomer or beginner
I hope you've learned a little bit with this picture and like it.
