If you are new to the Steem community and platform, you should definitely check out @WelcomeWagon.
This newbie support account is a project by @DreemSteem. Her vision for the account is ...
To seek out and "circle our wagons" around newbies, providing support, friendship and a "crash course" designed for Steemit success and a stronger platform!
@DreemSteem is an energetic, bundle of joy who has some vampire tendencies. Read more about that here. Hahahaha!
@WelcomeWagon Wants to Know How We Share Joy
I am a firm believer that you cannot share joy unless you are filled with joy. There is a children's song that goes something like this.
I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart.
Where? Down in my heart to stay.
Once I am filled up, then I try to show some love and spread some joy by doing the following:
OFFLINE
- sharing smiles - just keeping my face happy
- passing along encouraging words - speaking with the goal of building people up, not tearing them down
- performing small acts of kindness - I believe that even small acts can make a big difference
IN THE STEEM COMMUNITY
- upvoting comments - I feel that when people write genuine comments on my post they should be rewarded
- caring about peoples' lives off the blockchain - Steem brought us together and it helps keeps us connected when we are offline
- giving back - one of my favorite projects I have worked on was creating an online course called Steem Markdown - if you want to check out the course, click on this link - the first 10 people to sign up receive FREE access
How Do You Share Joy?
I want to hear your answers in the comment section.
Thanks for stopping by. Keep pressing forward and keep Steeming!
I share joy with my comment and post, I am happy to stop by anytime i can, and leave comment as a friendship mark. but lately I have to admit that I am using @steemdunk for auto up-vote, not because I dont like to organically involved but I dont want to miss things out of my support, i have put some people in my upvote list. Sorry for being away some time @sumatranate

I always enjoy seeing your comments. I completely understand. There is a saying - "Life happens." We cannot control all of our circumstances before they happen. Sometimes we have to react after it happens. I wish you the best. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
