Why You Should Never Use the Word TRY and many others

in success •  8 years ago

How important is word play aka vocabulary to your success in all aspects of your life?

This is absolutely crucial to your success/progression and is very overlooked in my opinion.

If we look at the word Try.... When you use this word, you are giving the suggestion to your mind of preconceived failure.
What this means is, your mind will only recognize opportunities, pathways, outcomes that will not be successful. Your mind will only see the step to try, give it a shot, get to half way, however you want to put it.

You must set up your mind for success. To accomplish anything you must believe and see the outcome you desire completely. This is why many great people throughout history and to this day tell others to THINK BIG! Also why you should have clarity on what you want, very specifically. This is so your brain and awareness can see the steps when they are presented, to attain the goal you want.

Same theory applies for the phrase "I can't". Majority of the time, what you really mean is 'I won't'. Which will give you the outcome of not doing it at all. This is usually driven by fear and your mindset to push away when you feel any anxious, anxiety, worry, ect feelings that come up.

Change up your vocabulary to only have positive outcomes and outlooks! This will truly change many outcomes in your life instantly. Give it a shot and let me know how it has worked for you.

Thanks for sharing such a meaningful post. It's very true that our mind is affected by our use of language a lot. Like what you said, avoiding using the word trying might just help us to stop trying but actually get ourselves to devote into something, something that might change our life. Good practice to keep in mind! Cheers.
