Ok so I resteemed a post that advertised "resteem for more followers".

Look, steemit vets, I am a talented and established writer but in the steemit community I am a baby.
I am a tiny, crying, needy-but-cute-enough-to-survive-as-nature-intended-cling-on-steemit-baby.
It is what it is.
So I have committed an occasional Steemit "Faux Paux" and pardon my French if that is in fact, French. Excuse my buzz kill. Don't judge a steemit-baby by its resteems.
If I have offended the popular kids in class, I just don't think it matters. Why? I am a BABY, remember? Babies don't practice social skills.
I don't feel right apologizing for breaking the social rules to this game. I need a hazing! Or a ritualistic induction of some kind, if anyone is going to snob me for not knowing the ropes.
I do feel a little dorky but I didn't exactly get the memo.
I want more followers, more upvotes and more of the same thing we all want. Success, please, happen!
More than anything I want a monster delegation so I can curate the major players who deserve recognition, and to make my posts more visible.

@lorilikes, read your reply on a friend's (Shello's) blog, and I decided to come see your blog myself. I could really relate to this post in more ways than one. I've had my fair share of the struggle to try getting at least a conversation going on my blogposts, and as well as the much coveted upvotes of users with tons of steempower.
It won't be easy, it will need the hours and hardwork. Let's see it as a cool new challenge we're up for. Let's stick to it and give to the community something valuable as frequent as possible and we'll become noteworthy.

@pangoli You are precisely what I need in a friend. I love the vulnerable approach. It is hard to show up and say "Hi, will you be my friend?". In fact, some people have crippling anxiety over the fear of rejection- so they avoid the "ask" altogether. I commend your courage, and I truly strive for this same assertive style. @jrb450 Timing is everything my friend. Your words “just keep being you” came right after someone told me I won’t be taken seriously because of my chat photo (It is a little sexy I guess). I started to really doubt myself and I considered it, genuinely for hours. I concluded that I don’t want to be serious. I am writing a cool post about it now. Thank you for being a cool support, right when I was about to Jump and land in a boring pants suit. (Don’t get me wrong I think suits looked amazing when I was working as a realtor, and as a pit boss in the casino. But I am a professional writer in Crypto. Huh. That is one way to look at it I suppose. I personally think self-voting is the fast road to exactly nowhere. Have you ran into the concept of "Steemit is a gift economy" yet? Google that phrase and the username @stellabelle if you have not, and read the amazing article that will be the #1 result. While you are certainly not alone in self-voting, neither am I alone in finding it a pretty distasteful thing to do. I can pretty much guarantee you that you will get farther, faster, by focusing on boosting other people up and letting your own success come naturally as people realize that you are awesome and giving. I hope this isn't coming off as too preachy. I like your vibe in the post and there is a STEEP learning curve here, that is for certain. Much love - Carl
