Hello Steemit followers!
I’m currently deeply looking into WildSpark that is why I write less and do less YouTube videos and blog posts. My main job on the Internet for the last few years has been phone content. But the main reason because of that is because of technology. Now smartphones is becoming a bit mainstream and it’s not as exciting or cutting edge anymore… My two main projects at the moment is Steemit and WildSpark. I love them both because they have working products out that works and their coins are on exchanges.
Main thing I love about Steemit is that it seems to be a great place to park your money. I would love to boost up other creators more currently at Steemit but I take a long term hold here until my finances becomes better. I’m in on Steemit for the long term so the current 1-3 years I will mainly focus on building up capital by finding the best Blockchain projects and then I can truly start to support creators deeply. I really love the idea of a giving economy. But everyone needs to take good care of their own private economy first before they can start to give a ton to others. Many new Blockchain projects is really a joke if you look at Telegram. Their whitepapers use buzz words, no product out and not on exchanges. Be careful out there.
Because I run both a YouTube channel, website and is focused on 2 major Blockchain projects at the moment I really try to optimise where I spend my time. My goal is still €3500 per day but these things will take a couple of years to set up the proper systems. At the moment I feel resistant to invest super much time into YouTube since I don’t feel the company has that good morals anymore they don’t seem to care and they have become lazy. I’m very grateful that a service like dtube has come along which I feel is the best competitor at the moment to seriously take on YouTube. Because you could support your favourite content creators so much easier with micro transactions.
I’m a perfectionist so I take extreme long perspectives on things to see if they are good long term projects. Others are usually very frustrated about this but I trust my intuition 100%. If I get new inputs of some new service it takes months for me to perfectly process all that information what it means. In the myers briggs personality test I’m the INFP type. Which is one of the most rare to be if you are a male.
We live in very interesting times with so much evolution going on especially the last 200 years. Technology is empowering people more gives us more free time and we start to demand more from services if they want us to keep using their services. These days we don’t want to waste our time since we see how much more opportunity that exist. Millions of apps and social media services it’s currently information overload! This means that people also get distracted super easily. I know that I can keep pump out regular videos and earn my income but I been doing it the last 5 years and it’s not as engaging or fun anymore. That is why I started to look deeper into writing and started my own phone website around 6 months ago called phoneinf where I also have dropped off tons of philosophy thinking content.
I know that we are in serious times of change that especially started to happen around 2012 when smartphones got bigger displays. The Galaxy S2 the year before was still a bit slow but with the Galaxy S3 things started to turn amazing and many mainstream phone brands started to pump out amazing devices. Late 2011 people was very resistant to big screen displays I was one of the first to pick up the 5.3” original Galaxy Note. That was considered huge then. Now it’s standard size. One flaw with that phone was that it was a bit too wide. These days phones are getting longer but not wider so you could easily hold them. 2012 we started the social media generation where people are more consuming content inside their phone: Videos, Photos or Blog posts. It’s very clear that we aren’t going back that things are now just speeding up even more. 2009 Bitcoin came after that financial crash of 2008. Digital money revolution started. Took many years for Bitcoin to start to get some serious attention. People was very skeptical to it in the beginning. I had my friend talk about Bitcoin early 2013 when it cost around €10. I wasn’t humble enough to take his advice seriously.
The last 2 years we have seen a massive paradigm shift and now we have over 1500 cryptocurrencies that you could see on coinmarketcap. And the major word for change has become Blockchain. Money is becoming more abundant since now anyone could create it. We are used to monopoly from banks to be able to create value but now anyone could launch a Token and ICO and get value super easy. So it’s clear that money and value becomes less scarce and more abundant. What is now becoming our real currency is our Time and Attention. Where should our attention go? Whoever gives us the most Speed and Value.
Steemit was a paradigm shift for me since I see how fast you get value and the speed of transactions are amazing. I sold all my Bitcoin and Ethereum to go all in on Steemit. Since I see the long term value here. It’s also a bit scary since you see how quickly everything now is speeding up and you feel that one day it will just say click and someone has invented an AI robot and it’s game over from there. The authority of government is slowly fading away people don’t really see the point with it since we now are all empowered with mega computers in our pockets.
Trading that usually was reserved for sophisticated people is now being opened up for the mainstream masses. Since it’s getting easier to get involved. This will probably frustrate people that has invested years into that craft. It can be an ego attacker. But the market doesn’t care. The western world is too stuck in the grip of Banks so it will mainly be the third world that will benefit the most from Blockchain technology.
Going back to WildSpark it has been a very interesting experience so far. It’s main company is Synereo that wants to build a product around Attention Economy. The company is from Israel and has a main team in Tel Aviv that works 6 days a week. They currently have seen massive growth in users the last 2 weeks. They both have official Telegram channel and Discord channel where you could talk to the team. I seriously recommend that you go and read both their whitepapers. They got one from 2015 that is 60+ pages long extremely sophisticated stuff that talks about their overall world domination vision. Sounds like they want to build an improved version of Facebook very amazing stuff. Then there is an updated whitepaper from 2018 that talks more in depth about their WildSpark product that currently is in a testing phase but it’s open for the masses to sign up and try.
What they are doing is building a platform where you can share content by AMPing it. AMP is their digital currency that is listed on exchanges. AMP’s are being sent over the Bitcoin network. But they are looking into switching to the Ethereum ERC20 network later this year which will speed things up. Currently they have a manual review over withdrawals which means it can take a longer time to get it approved but I got my first one accepted. I connected my Facebook account to my WildSpark account and got rewarded with 10 free AMP’s. If you don’t then you will have to buy AMPs with Fiat money first. So when you AMP something you are buying a bit of space of Attention on their WildSpark page that have different categories of content. The more AMPs you use the more exposure you will get.
I got 300 free AMPs from the generous team to explore it some more. ATM I have made a profit of around 100 AMPs. But this first version of WildSpark currently doesn’t have the social aspect that they are planning on in their whitepaper. The last year they have released several versions of WildSpark on time to always improve it’s functionality. I think this is awesome since the only thing you have to do is keep AMP stuff in small amounts like 0.1 and you could move up 10-20 AMPs in 1 day! But it does take time investment. If you are a video creator this is amazing since they support YouTube and the original creator gets 30% of the earnings from AMPs people give you. You could read more about their chain reward structure in the whitepapers.
I got an official response from APPICS which I did not expect. I currently still don’t recommend the project and don’t see how it would be able to succeed but it seems like they will work on their communication to improve in the future.
Also don’t recommend view.ly at the moment since they avoid questions about Exchanges being listed and they currently do not have a product out yet.
I just found this because you voted on my diet coke article lol. I have tried wildspark one time and I didn't understand it. I just amped a video and that was it. I'd like to learn more but right now I focus on steem for the same reasons you mentioned. i'm about to hit 1000sp and that is my first goal

WildSpark works best if you have original videos... You can really pump in money then... Do you make videos?

i don't . I just like sharing them. I am using steepshot on steemit as an instagram clone and it is easier to make money than on long form steemit posts so that is good. I'd like to learn to make videos though,
I find it is really hard to get anyone to read content whether it is good or bad on steemit.

Key to make people read content is via personal comments to them. There you can nicely put in anything of value and be 100% sure that the author will read it with care. Since everyone loves getting personal comments. You can also sell yourself in there in the comments. In a nice engaging way of course. I have made $40 in 1 day on Steemit just from that days comments. Very amazing actually.
