So... I have been marketing online for a while now and my main focus is on affiliate marketing and email marketing.
There were many struggles and there are still many of them.
However, the struggles are a lot different now when I first started.
If you are just starting your own online business - no matter what form it is ranging from freelancing to affiliate marketing to ecommerce - you need to understand one thing...
You are BUILDING A BUSINESS.
You are not "looking for another job" online.
You need to have the right mindset from the beginning.
If you are looking for another job, you will most probably find that your day job is better.
You get paid regularly, it is predictable. The only thing is, your routine is predictable. Your income is predictable and it will stay for many years to come.
Even if you were to earn a larger salary, it usually also comes with more stress and many people will eventually fell burned out too!
However, if you shift your mindset from "looking for another job" to "building an online business", chances are, you will stay longer.
That is because you will come to understand that building a business is not an overnight process.
It is a marathon, never a sprint.
The concept is very simple for whatever online business you venture into - what they forgot to tell you is this, being persistent, even when on days or weeks you do not get results is very difficult!
However, if you understand that it is a marathon, you will come to understand that what you are doing today is going to get you results for the future!
And when you understand that, you will stop looking for "Get rich quick" tactics and strategies and you will always do the right thing which will push you nearer towards your goals.
