Is Israel guilty of having committed a "massacre" in Gaza?
The article quotes an unnamed "spokesman for the Bethlehem municipality" [which is located in the West Bank, not in Gaza] who claimed that "our people in Gaza are being massacred and killed in cold blood."
Do the U.K. and U.S. Sun newspaper editions -- which are read by millions of people in both countries every day -- avoid all responsibility for making that accusation by putting the word "massacre" inside quotation marks?
What if the Bethlehem spokesperson had claimed that "what's happening to our people in Gaza is genocide"?
In that case, would the Sun newspaper be acting responsibly if its headline ended with "...due to Israeli 'genocide'"???
