I know several people and diabetics that wanted to resolve or help their blood sugar issues. I gold them about Sunchokes, also know as Jerusalem artichoke. They were like what and I said yeah its also know as fartichoke, cause it will make you fart. It has an amazing ability to mix with your micro biome and start growing and fermenting in the gut to produce probiotics.

Ok, so Sunchoke simple has a ton of Inulin. What is Inulin, its very similar to insulin and the theory is the body takes in the inulin and produces insulin. Also the pancreas has a store of insulin and when it runs out in some cases the person can not control blood sugar. Also inulin controls osmosis or water lever in the cells this is important for poppers hydration. So the number 1 post of Sunchokes is to help the pancreas and people with type 1 diabetes or have high blood sugar prediabetic.

Edgar Cacye was a big advocate of Sunchokes and recommended this for diabetes, however his foundation was bases on a dirty or jammed lymphatics was the issue and I will post about castor packs in my next post. So how do you consume Sunchokes ; my recommendation is juice them. The heat from cooking evaporates most of the nutrients and if you have a cold press juicer make sure to do this ever day. Also, watch your sugar and carb intake. If you do this everyday and watch your diet you can feel a big difference. People with blood sugar issues feel very heavy in the morning and dull in the mind form a Chinese perspective, see symptoms of spleen issue.

Well I hope this helps at least 1 person and please tell me if there have been any benefits.sunchokes-raw.jpg

Great post! I have juiced it before and it does help a lot. Many people go through life not knowing they are diabetic. Over time it can become delibitating. Thanks for sharing!
