Look To The Moon!

It's not often that we get to see our Earth's shadow, but we'll have the opportunity on January 31st when we experience a powerful Super Blue Moon Eclipse! Sounds exciting but what is it and what does it mean for YOU? All Full Moons represent the illumination of truth and things "coming to light", as well as a favourable time for releasing what's undesirable in our lives - and in the courageous sign of Leo, we'll feel more empowered to tackle these issues! This particular Lunar Light is especially impressive because it's also a "Supermoon", meaning the Moon is orbiting closer than usual to us on Earth, and a Lunar Eclipse, which is the Moon passing through Earth's shadow! PLUS, it's also a "Blue Moon" for most of the world since this is the second of TWO full moons to occur in a calendar month (although this is NOT the case for New Zealand!) Will YOU witness this Eclipse? When you view it depends on where YOU are! If you live in North America or the Hawaiian Islands, it'll be visible in your sky BEFORE sunrise on January 31. If you live in the Middle East, Asia, Indonesia, Australia or New Zealand your observation time is after sunset on January 31 (here in NZ the Eclipse will actually be exact on 1 Feb at 2:27am) Overall, this dramatic Leo lumination/eclipse stirs up strong sentiments, greater passion and potent sharing of emotions. It emphasizes a period of culmination, bringing with it a yearning for attention, affection and affirmation – but we need to be mindful of honouring the same with those we love. Finding the balance between self-centered energy and self-less action is key.
