► Super Bowl 52 between the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots is set to be played Feb. 4, 2018. It will take place in a dome just like Super Bowl 51 did ... but much further north, where the weather outside the venue won't be as inviting.

► Granted, Minneapolis, with its state-of-the-art U.S. Bank Stadium, will be ready to host the Super Bowl and show off its fancy digs to the world.

▬ ► Where is the Super Bowl in 2018? ◄ ▬

● Super Bowl 52 will be played in Minneapolis at U.S. Bank Stadium, which will have just finished hosting its second Minnesota Vikings season after being built in time for the 2016 NFL season.

● NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced in May of 2014 that Minnesota and its new stadium would host the Super Bowl in 2018. The stadium seats 66,200 but can be expanded to fit up to 70,000 people.

● The game will be the first Super Bowl in Minnesota since Super Bowl XXVI, when the Washington Redskins defeated the Buffalo Bills, 37-24, on Jan. 26, 1992 at The Metrodome.

● The 2018 Super Bowl will be broadcast on NBC and can be live-streamed on fuboTV.

► Justin Timberlake will headline the Pepsi Super Bowl LII Halftime Show at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018.

● Timberlake has won ten Grammys and numerous other awards. This will be Timberlake's third time performing on the Super Bowl Halftime stage, giving him the distinction of having the most appearances by an individual entertainer. He previously performed at Super Bowls XXXV and XXXVII.

●Timberlake joins an esteemed list of recent halftime acts including Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Madonna, The Who, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, U2 and more.

● The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show is the most-watched musical event of the year. Last year's show was the most-watched musical event of all-time across all platforms and the most-watched Super Bowl Halftime performance in history through broadcast and digital channels, reaching more than 150 million unique people, garnering more than 80 million views and totaling 260 million minutes watched.

► The New England Patriots (New England Patriots) are a professional football team based in the greater Boston metropolitan area.

►Before Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, the Patriots were a team with very little roots. However, his most recent successes have managed to win over the fans. They are the team with the most appearances in the Super bowl with 9 played. The following are the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys with eight appearances. Since 2000, the Patriots have 13 East AFC titles in 15 seasons and have not had a losing season since 2000. The team reached the playoffs four times before their first appearance in a Super Bowl: Between 2001 and 2004, The Patriots became the second team in NFL history, after the Dallas Cowboys, to win three Super Bowls in four years (Super Bowl XXXVI, XXXVIII and XXXIX) .1 2 3 The Patriots are also the seventh team in NFL history to win two consecutive Super Bowl (XXXVIII and XXXIX) .2 3 Between 2001 and 2010 the Patriots set a record of 121 victories in a decade. The team has also compiled the longest winning streak in NFL history, which consists of 21 games won consecutively from October 2003 to October 2004. The rivalry of the Patriots and the New York Jets is among the best of the NFL.

► The Patriots have appeared nine times in the Super Bowl. The team advanced to Super Bowl XX in 1986 where they were defeated by the Chicago Bears. Years later the team advanced to Super Bowl XXXI in 1997 to be defeated by the Green Bay Packers. The Patriots won their first championship in 2002 where they defeated the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI. The next title was in 2004 when they defeated the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl XXXVIII. In 2005 they repeated as champions by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX. In the 2007 season the Patriots won their first 18 games but were defeated by the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII in 2008. Again the Patriots were beaten by the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI in 2012. The next appearance in a Super Bowl was in 2015 where the Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.
