Clip Studio Paint, Attempt No. 5

in superheroine •  6 years ago

OK, time to try an action scene. Process-wise I'm generating all the images the same in Clip Studio as I was doing it in paint.net. Pencil/rough sketch, ink outline layer, flat layer, shade layer, highlight layer. The biggest difference is in the inking layer. Big time saver. Filling in the flats is about the same time, or at least will be once I get the hotkeys figured out.

Here's a fight scene between Moon Girl (public domain) and some dude named Axe who will probably be a recurring character on Real Superheroines of XX[?]

Kind of an odd perspective and I didn't use a 3-d model for this one, just sketched it from the ether. Notice there is another phoned in background. Also I'm willing to bet that there is a "manga impact line feature" that would have made much better impact lines, I just don't know where it is.
