You know how when you are super tired, you have ideas you think are fucking awesome, but actually, when you look back at them, it turns out they were actually just really bizarre and you were loopy from lack of sleep?
No? Yeah....Me neither....
I was going to make a video today for my YouTube channel with an actual topic and discussion, but when I looked back at the footage I had taken, and the weird jumble of things I had been attempting to talk about all in the same video--cigarettes,prostate health, and fascism (no, I'm not kidding)--I realized it was kind of a strange idea. The result of not having slept for the past two days.
Anyway, I discovered some footage I really liked finally, but it wasn't anything I had done intentionally. I had accidentally turned my camera on while walking and liked the footage, so I sliced things up, used some shots I had already taken for the "serious video," and made this little movie representing my take on what the world feels like when one is sleep deprived.
The music is an original arrangement from GarageBand's Apple Loops.
Now for some shut-eye.
Enjoy.
Hey, you know what else? You should make a stupid #supershortfilm, too.

sleep deprivation is cumulative and the damage that it causes is too.
