Supplement myth

There are lot of myth regarding use of supplement in body building. I have been using supplement from the last 8 months and I have faced no such problems. I have been in the world of fitness for last 1 year and I had lots of doubt regarding the use of supplements. What are the benefits? Side effects? Time of consumption? Brands and lot more..

Through this I will try to clear all this myth related to supplement. I am not an expert in this field so I will cover the supplement that I have tried. I have been using the muscleblaze whey protein(unflavored) and creatine monohydrate from As-it-is. Honestly, I have seen the results. Bodybuilding is a time taking process, so one has to be patient. An individual doesn't get the dream body in just few weeks of training, it takes years to reach that stage. Supplement just acts as a catalyst and help to hit that desired protein target.

I will not recommend any protein brand, only requirement is that the protein should be from any American based company and it should be authentic. People generally have a misconception regarding the use of protein powder that it lead to formation of stone in kidney. If you drink 2-3 litres of water then it will be fine. The protein needs to be filtered in the body and water will help in that process.

Here the main question arises! When to consume protein? The time after you finish your workout is the best time. You muscles needs to be refueled to grow. Since protein powder doesn't take much time to digest, it directly goes to the muscles and help them to grow. The field of bodybuilding is very large and I might not know everything but one thing that I am sure of is if you are a natural lifter then you shouldn't fear about the side effects. It will take a long time to reach that dream body but the wait is worth it.

-Thank you.
